Hello! Hola!

We are Susana and Cecilia — sisters, teachers, and avid travelers.

As sisters, we naturally work well together, which has led us to creating this exceptional travel experience for you!

As teachers, we are passionate about not only lifting up our students, but also our fellow educators. Together, we can tackle educational challenges and celebrate our successes.

  • I was born and raised in Mexico City. I moved to Syracuse NY in my early twenties. I raised two kids, who graduated from the Fayetteville-Manlius District. When my younger child was a student at the high school, I was hired there as a Spanish teacher. I worked at Eagle Hill Middle School for twenty years, and I loved every minute of it. I was very passionate about teaching culture in my classroom, and I had a particular interest in teaching my students about my Mexican heritage.

After I retired in June of 2023, I decided that I would design and organize trips with language teachers in mind, to share my love of culture with similar-minded educators. But this trip is not just for teachers. It is also for fun-loving adults, who want to experience an adventure of a lifetime.

I have worked with my sister, who lives in Mexico City, to organize and put together this amazing trip. I hope you can join us!

  • I was born and raised in Mexico City, where I have lived my whole life. I was an elementary and preschool teacher for twelve years. During my career, I chose to take some years off to raise my five children.

I am currently retired, which allows me to pursue my other passion: art. I am a graphic artist, and I offer painting and art workshops.

I am enamored with my country, its customs, its colorful handcrafts, and traditions. All of these elements are reflected in my paintings.

I enjoy traveling, and for several years, I have had the opportunity to organize group travel adventures. I am delighted to make this trip project a reality, along with my sister, Susana.
