Can I sign up even if I am not a teacher?

Yes! While the trip was created with foreign language educators in mind for the purpose of adding culture and perspective to their lessons, anyone interested in attending is encouraged to register.

Is Mérida safe?

Absolutely. In fact, Mérida is so safe, it has been ranked the second safest city in North America and the 30th safest city in the entire world.

What will the weather be like?

Mérida has a tropical climate with an average high of 89 degrees F, and an average low of 65 degrees F.

Susana and Cecilia will handle all of the travel arrangements EXCEPT for travel to and from Philadelphia International Airport. (You may sign up for a carpool option we offer for an additional cost).

That means all airfare, hotels, activities, breakfast & lunch reservations, and travel arrangements within Mexico will be arranged for you. Dinner is not included because lunch is typically served late in the afternoon and is the heaviest meal of the day in Mexico.
